1st Line Technical Support

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a brilliant team onsite in London.

This is an opportunity to sharpen your helpdesk skills, you'll have hands-on involvement in our transition to a fully cloud-based infrastructure. You'll work closely with the IT Manager to strengthen our cyber security posture and, where appropriate, contribute to shaping our organisational IT policies.

Description

  • Provide Technical support to staff members
  • Assist with Infrastructure Projects
  • Computer Setup, maintenance and updates
  • Monitor anti-virus and intrusion activities across all servers and devices
  • Closely monitor server performances across all services and servers and ensure business continuity
  • Maintain IT related inventory of computers, mobile phones, software licenses, network equipment, printer, meeting room equipment etc
  • Support Office 365/ bespoke applications, 365 administration of Users and Groups
  • Assist with documentation of IT Policies

Profile

  • a strong foundation in IT support and specific technical skills
  • experience working with Windows operating systems and standard desktop applications
  • experience administering Active Directory and M365 tenants
  • familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, and Windows Server (2003-2019)
  • strong networking skills (DNS, routing, switching)
  • practical experience in a small IT team environment
