Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a well-established Professional Services Company located in South Gloucestershire. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Thorough analysis of revenue for multiple entities within the group
- Month-end revenue transaction analysis, providing commentary
- Produce month-end revenue analysis modelling for future projections
- Balance sheet analysis and commentary
- Deferred income and credit analysis with commentary
- Oversee monthly management account reporting pack for allocated entities
- Profit and loss analysis, with explanation of variances
- Preparation of accruals, prepayments and depreciation to post journals for submission of the month-end reporting pack
- Support in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Assist with year-end audit as required
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Person specification:
- Part-qualified or working towards ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent MS Excel skills including: VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation, able to consistently work to deadlines
- Strong initiative, able to work autonomously and problem solve, yet prepared to ask for guidance and support as required
- Positive attitude and desire to achieve results
