Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their early years team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of nursery-aged children, fostering a love of learning and helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years.
- Planning and implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Observing and assessing children's development, ensuring they meet their milestones.
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers, and other staff members.
- Contributing to the planning and preparation of the indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- A relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent).
- Experience working in an early years setting.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
