Job Title: VP Sales, EMEA
£160-170k base double OTE
We're currently engaged with a leading US SaaS vendor based, specializing in governance, risk and compliance, they're looking for a VP Sales to help scale EMEA.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead the sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to exceed targets and build high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

Identify key market segments and opportunities for growth, and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on them.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company goals.
- Team Leadership and Management:

Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to drive individual and team success.

Implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, ensuring readiness to effectively sell our products/services.
- Performance Management and Metrics:

Establish KPIs and sales targets for the sales team, monitoring performance against goals and taking corrective action as needed.

Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Regularly report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Customer Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.

Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and retention, driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and differentiate our offerings in the market.

Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify product/service enhancements and new market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the US SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams, with a focus on coaching and development.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead through change.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
