Location: Raunds

Position Type: Part-Time - 9:30am-2:30pm (25 hours per week), Temp to Perm for the Right Candidate

Job Description: We are looking for a part-time Finance Assistant who has a keen interest in finance and is eager to develop their skills further. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Record Management: Organise and maintain financial documents and records, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
  • Support to Finance Team: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, assisting with various financial tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a finance-related role is essential.
  • AAT Level 2 qualification is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong numerical and analytic skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
