Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

Salary: £24,937 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent, Night Shift
Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders ready for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Stock replenishment.
- Manual handling of stock, including heavy lifting.
- Ensuring suitable rotation of stock.
- Maintaining general housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Utilising warehouse management systems (desirable).
- Working under cold conditions as freezer and chiller work is required.
- Demonstrating good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Working both independently and as part of a small team.
- Operating a valid FLT licence (advantageous).
Brook Street Foods, a family-run food service business operating for over 30 years, is seeking a passionate Warehouse Operative to join their team. Based in the heart of Suffolk, our client delivers food all over East Anglia, as well as select areas in London and Kent.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and replenishing stock. With a heavy lifting component, physical fitness is required to excel in this position. If you have previous experience in a warehouse or production environment, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to work under cold conditions, we would love to hear from you.
