Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established boutique firm of accountants based in the heart of the historic county town of Hertford, that are now in a position to recruit for a qualified (ACCA/ACA) Senior/Client Accountant to take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of Limited Company, Sole trader and partnership clients.
Role Requirements -
You will look after a portfolio of clients (SMEs, OMBs and micro businesses) spanning varied industry sectors, and provide the following duties:
Preparation of Year-End financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 utilisation IRIS software
Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC
Production of self-assessment tax returns for directors and sole traders and submission to the HMRC
Quarterly VAT returns for clients
Periodic management accounts for clients as required
Supporting junior members of staff and reviewing work as required
Person Requirements -
ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years' experience working for a UK based practice as a senior or client accountant
Solid exposure to accounts production, tax, VAT, management accounts
Proficient in the use of accounting software to include IRIS, XERO, Quickbooks and Sage 50
