Urgent Job Opportunity: BSL Support Worker Needed

Are you proficient in British Sign Language (BSL) and passionate about supporting individuals in an educational setting? We have an urgent opening for a BSL Support Worker at a college in Loughton. This role requires immediate availability and offers full-time hours during school hours.
Needs to have BSL Level 3
Responsibilities:
- Provide BSL support to students in classrooms and during various activities.
- Assist students in understanding and participating in lessons, ensuring inclusion and accessibility.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to facilitate effective communication and learning experiences.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students with hearing impairments.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) at a level suitable for educational support.
- Experience working as a support worker or in a similar role, preferably in an educational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and accessibility in education.
