SENCo & KS1 Teacher Role

We are working with a lovely Village Primary School in Grantham, who are looking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated SENCo and KS1 Teacher on a Part time basis: 2 days a week.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who will support the leadership team in coordinating the strategic direction and continuing the development and provision of SEND education within the school

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be happy to teach /cover PPA in KS1 at 1 day a week
  • As part time SENDco be experienced in completing Refferals and EHCPs
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of the school's SEN policy and supporting students with diverse needs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong desire to make an impact in children's lives
  • Have experience with KS1 or KS2 classes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
