Job Title: Lecturer in Electrical Installation
Location: Essex Area (commutable from Chelmsford)
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time or Part-Time
Rate: £40 per hour
About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer to deliver high-quality theory and practical lessons to electrical apprentices on a temporary basis. You'll teach the Level 3 Electrical Installation curriculum, support learner progress, and help develop the curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons on Electrical Science, Inspection, Testing, and Fault Finding
- Support and mentor apprentices through feedback and progress tracking
- Maintain accurate student records and contribute to curriculum development
- Create a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' industry experience
- Passion for teaching and supporting apprentices
Desirable:
- BS 7671 (18th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2391
- Teaching or assessor qualification (e.g., PGCE, TAQA)
