Insulation Superviser
Field based in Merseyside & North-West
£35,000 + Company Vehicle
Our client who has been established for 30 years is seeking an individual to join the team and oversee daily works carried out by sub-contractors in residential properties mainly within Merseyside and might include other locations within the North-West.
An Insulation Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that insulation projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications. Responsibilities typically include:
Project Oversight
Manage and coordinate insulation installation projects, such as internal and external wall insulation, room in roof insulation, cavity wall insulation, and loft insulation.
Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of insulation sub-contract workers, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
Scheduling and Planning
Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
Quality Assurance
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets regulatory and client standards
Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Material Management: Ensure the correct materials are used for each project and manage inventory effectively
Reporting
Provide regular updates to project managers or clients on progress, challenges, and project outcomes
Problem-Solving: Resolve any on-site issues related to manpower, equipment, or unexpected challenges in the installation process
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
- Strong knowledge of various insulation methods and materials
- Experience managing teams in a construction environment
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-specific challenges
- This role is essential in ensuring energy efficiency and overall building performance, which directly impacts the long-term sustainability and cost-effectiveness of a project
