Job Title: Technical Field Service Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Sheffield, with travel across the UK
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours of work: 8.30 - 5 with travel (majority UK) can be varied but must be willing to travel.

The purpose of the role is to provide engineering and technical support to Ribble Packaging Limited's clients, in respect of the 'Right size' machinery and services, which include installation, training and services on 3 service packages, Gold, Silver and Bronze. With the flexibility to be on-call to respond to out of hours problems.
Principle Accountabilities

Engineering Technical Support both mechanical and electrical including the following:

Complete installations, commissioning, and machine start-ups along with operational checks on all machine systems including the configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding and power testing.

Complete all Panotec training to customer operators and customer service maintenance team ensuring training is fully provided.

Understanding technical drawings (CAD), interpret drawings/designs for installation and preparing field design changes as required. This includes mechanical, electrical diagrams and pneumatic CAD drawings.

Complete in-depth machine service reports, ensuring we account for all spare parts and man hours provided.

Support technical manager with general site quality visits with detailed reporting on "root cause".

Engineering technical support for Business Development Managers

End of month reports defining objectives, targets and continuous improvements to the Technical Engineering Manager.

Flexibility to travel throughout UK and Italy.

To be included in any 'Right size' machinery training and service support for other manufacturers that will benefit the strategic sales growth of Ribble Packaging Ltd.
Additional Requirements and Skills
- Multilingual including Italian. (Desirable)
- Safety Passport or equivalent.
- T. Proficient.
- Full Clean UK Driving License.
- ONC/HNC Qualification in Mechanical.
- Electrical Certificate/experience.
- SMSTS
- To hold a valid UK passport and health documentation for international travel requirements.
