Description

  • Lead project planning and execution, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate efforts among suppliers, technical experts, and stakeholders across various project types, including NPD, capital projects, and marketing and sales.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D to manage dynamic, innovative projects involving stakeholders like government organizations and retailers.
  • Identify and address risks, dependencies, and technical challenges.
  • Oversee scheduling and forecasting of hardware, materials, and resources for successful project delivery.
  • Lead project governance to ensure cross-department accountability.
  • Continuously review and enhance the company's project management and phase gate framework to improve consistency and quality.
  • Educate and train team members on the project framework and company project management processes.

Profile

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven individual who is ready to roll up their sleeves and work independently when needed. You should be the subject matter expert in your field, with a clear understanding of excellence and the capability to implement it effectively. The start-up environment evolves rapidly, so adaptability and the ability to manage shifting priorities are essential for success in this role.

  • A relevant degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience is essential.
  • Proven experience in bringing physical consumer products from concept to launch and navigating the product development lifecycle is required.
  • A formal project management qualification is preferred, with demonstrated success in a similar, fast-paced startup environment being even more valuable.
  • Experience in the FMCG or CPG sectors is preferred.
  • Experience with the transfer of complex manufacturing equipment is desirable.
