SF Recruitment are exclusively working to support an NHS organisation based in the west midlands that require a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective service to senior leaders within the organisation.
- Carry out period end tasks - including posting assessments; running overheads; settlements; reconciling balance sheet accounts and profit centers;
- Produce a schedule of projects which need providing for at the quarter/year end and communicate these to the Finance Manager for review and approval.
- Support the Finance Manager to establish and maintain good working relationships with project managers, escalating matters to Finance Managers where appropriate;
- Monitor projects which have ended and ensure that appropriate actions are taken for a prompt and orderly close;
- Maintain an action plan for projects which have passed end date but not yet closed off;
The ideal candidate will have NHS experience, be ACCA/CIMA qualified and posses good communication / customer service in addition to good excel skills.
