Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher for a warm and friendly SEN school in the Cricklade area. This small setting provides an alternative curriculum focused on experiential learning, catering to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 6 to 18.
About the Role:
- Position: SEN Maths Teacher
- Location: Cricklade
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Temporary to permanent
- Start Date: September
- Class Size: Maximum of 8 students per class, mixed age groups based on ability
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferable but not essential
- Experience: Previous teaching or tutoring experience in Maths
- Specialist Experience: Experience working with young people with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD
- Personal Qualities: Kind, caring, and able to engage effectively with students
