to join them to perform activities including modelling, algorithm development and systems studies.
Systems Engineer - Modelling and Simulation
As a
Systems Engineer
, you will be involved in simulation and modelling across the entire missile product chain, from radar propagation to hardware response to the on-board embedded software algorithms. These algorithms are developed in, and auto-coded directly from models, allowing rapid test, iteration and delivery of sophisticated defence capability.
To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject, with experience in a similar role involving modelling and simulation, as well as an interest in finding innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
You will have experience in:
- Modelling and coding.
- Algorithm development.
- Data analysis and technical report writing.
In addition, experience in some of the following would be beneficial:
- Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink.
- Formal software or firmware development experience.
- Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing.
- Model verification, configuration control and model release processes.
- Continuous Integration and Testing.
- Machine Learning and AI.
