Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Surveyor to join our team in Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security sales, with a focus on life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. This role will involve project sales ranging from £10,000 to £1,000,000 and will require a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine client requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to create project proposals and estimates
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire and security sales, including project sales and new business development
- Strong knowledge of life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
- Familiarity with British Standards and other relevant industry regulations
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Cumbria area
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are desirable
