Location: Hinckley (18 month Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000pa + Car allowance, bonus, and benefits
Great opportunity in the Hinckley area for a Loss Prevention Manager with experience gained within the supply chain and logistics sector. You will be responsible for the management of the Inventory, Security and Compliance Functions of a large multi-temperature Distribution Centre. An enhanced DBS Check is essential along with an understanding of the principles of Good Distribution Practice.
This is an 18 month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities for the Loss Prevention Manager will include:
- Inventory accuracy of the site including leading investigations into stock discrepancy related issues.
- Validating the correct processing, recording and where appropriate destruction of products.
- Ensuring that product batch recalls are dealt with promptly.
- Maintaining the integrity of the discontinued line process.
- The overall security of the site and related assets such as vehicles, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms etc.
- Coordinating onsite and out-based searches.
- Theft investigation.
- Ensuring compliance of GDP requirements including leading internal and external audits of GDP compliance.
Experience needed for this Loss Prevention Manager role:
- Excellent Operational process knowledge.
- Experience in managing a stock control function in a similar position.
- Working knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control and intruder alarms)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Leading and directing investigations into stock loss.
- Detailed GDP knowledge and experience in assuring compliance to standards frameworks.
