Job Title: Paralegal - Family Team
Location: Liverpool
**Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hybrid
About the business:
Well-established, law firm. Our client is looking to hire a Paralegal to join their reputable Family Law department, in their Liverpool office.
If you are successful, your responsibilities as a Family Paralegal will include:
- Assisting a fee earner with a large caseload which is predominantly care work.
- Preparing bundles of documents for hearings
- Dealing with clients both in person and remotely where necessary
- Attending court assisting counsel and/ or clients
- Carrying out legal aid assessments and applications
Ideal Person
- Able to prioritise heavy workloads efficiently.
- Good at interacting with others.
- Works well within a vibrant team.
- A self-starter who is always ready to get involved.
- Experience of Legal Aid Agency Portal (CCMS) (essential)
