Meiko UK Limited is a leading supplier of commercial glass and dish washing machines & systems to the UK catering industry with a customer base ranging from hotel and restaurant chains, pub groups and leading high street department stores through to hospitals, airlines, rail and ferry operators and a host of others. Based at our Slough Trading Estate head office, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated and enthusiastic people who have been with the company for many years and whose contribution has enabled us to achieve unprecedented growth rates during the past few years.
Sales Order Processor - 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00 (or 08.00-16.30) with one hour for lunch, plus bonus and other benefits.
The successful candidate must have a good attention to detail and be able to work on their own and as part of the Sales team. Ideally you will be working in a sales order environment and based within commuting distance of Slough.
Key Responsibilities include
- Processing customer orders onto our computer system (Navision)
- Checking for accuracy of order
- Resolving any discrepancies direct with customer
- Liaison with all departments including the external/internal sales team, CAD team, technical services, project installations and the factory in Germany
- Raising purchase orders
- Sending out order confirmations
- Updating logistics delivery schedule
Proven Skills-set required
- Experience with Navision or similar
- Experience using Microsoft 365 with good keyboard skills
- Be able to work as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work
- Able to work under pressure
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Attention to detail
- Confident with numbers
