What You Will Do:
- Lead the development of the Cockpit Module focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery, ensuring all KPIs are met.
- Manage project layouts, concept sheets, and technical files preparation towards production release.
- Oversee cost versus budget, ensuring specifications and performance criteria are met at each milestone.
- Facilitate effective communication and report on costs, supplier timing plans, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Engage directly with suppliers on technical and commercial aspects, including RFQ creation and quote analysis.
- Contribute to new model and lifecycle design engineering development, displaying a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
What You Will Bring:
- A qualification in Design / Engineering with a strong portfolio in automotive design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD interrogation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in automotive design, cost breakdown analysis, and working within a technical/commercial team.
- Knowledge of interior cabin parts/modules and manufacturing processes.
- A valid driving licence and the ability to travel globally as required.
