The role of a Bar Staff has a competitive pay rate of £13.46ph per hour, increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include, accruing up to 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within Harrow Council.The successful Bar Staff candidates will have an interest in hospitality, handling alcohol and working within a customer focused environment, which is often dynamic and fast paced. All Bar staff members will provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the Museum and Barn at various events.The Main Purpose of a Bar Staff:

- " Prepare and serve hot, cold and alcoholic drinks and café food items; sell retail items
- " Accurately enter all sales on the till system
- " Ensure the café and shop remain stocked at all times
- " Keep all areas of the food servery, storeroom, and café clean and free from hazards
- " Ensure the café and shop remain stocked at all times
- " In the event of an emergency, assist in the evacuation of the venue
- " Keep the toilets clean and stocked throughout opening hours
- " Maintain knowledge of the retail stock and café menu to assist customers
- " Provide a friendly and efficient service to customers
- " Assist the Café Supervisor, Duty Manager, Visitor Services Manager or other colleagues by carry out tasks appropriate to the level of this post as required.
About you, the successful Bar Staff will have:
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be willing to work as a part of a team and individually
- Must be able to commit to ad-hock shifts from 4:00pm - 10:00pm
