Axon Moore are supporting a large international business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Group Financial controller.
The successful candidate will be positioned in a highly visible role across the Group and will support the CFO in identifying and resolving key challenges.
The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:
- Responsible for the financial and management accounting processes and systems
- Income statement and cash flow forecasting
- Responsible for the planning and preparation of the annual budgeting
- Financial and statutory reporting
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for month end controls and reconciliations
- Supporting the CFO with presentations and updates to external stakeholders
- Review of financial systems, controls and processes.
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting experience, ideally within a Group or Head Office function
- Managerial experience of leading and developing other finance staff
- Able to work in a complex, multi-site organisation
