Marshall Wolfe is proud to be supporting a global technology company in their search for an experienced Soloutions Designer with strong UCC for an initial 6 month contract (Inside IR35). The role is based in their Chippenham, Reading office. This is a hybrid role, and the candidate must be committed to 3 days on-site per week.

The role would suit someone with strong experience in Bid management and Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) to join a dynamic team working on highly sensitive projects within a secure environment. This role involves designing and implementing complex UCC solutions using cloud-based and on-premise technologies.

What You'll Do:

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs for UCC solutions.
  • Lead bid processes, contributing technical expertise to secure new projects and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Manage customer migration planning, implementation, and solution delivery.
  • Work with Cisco, Juniper, VMware, and other top telecom vendor technologies.
  • Lead on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for complex UCC systems.
  • Engage with clients, providing technical expertise and influencing strategy to deliver scalable UCC systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Bid management, especially within UCC environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UCC technologies like VoIP, video conferencing, and telecom architecture.
  • Experience designing, configuring, and commissioning complex communication systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders across various technical levels.
  • Self-starter who can work independently on high-security projects.
