Reception Manager
Salary: £30000 (40 hours per week)
Location:Burgh Island Live-in accommodation is available, subject to availability. (This starts at £25.00 per week in a shared room)
Want to work at one of the most magnificent hotels in Devon.
This hotel is an iconic landmark and retreat, positioned on a wildly beautiful and secluded tidal Burgh Island are looking for a Reception Supervisor.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all reception staff. Making sure all tasks are completed by following necessary procedures and report to the reception manager if necessary.
Requirements for role:
- Deal with general telephone queries, voicemails, and emails.
- Manage check in and out processes.
- Make sure all allergies are noted.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Manage guests' payments.
- Report maintenance items to maintenance.
- Ensure radio system is working.
- Always ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage the day-to-day smooth running of reception.
- Provide a task list to the team.
Health and Safety:
- To be constantly vigilant in respect of Health & Safety issues and report risks
- Attends all fire, health and safety training as requested.
- Immediately report any suspicious incidents
- Is mindful of GDPR and confidentiality with regards to guest & employee personal data
- Undertakes other duties from time to time as may be required.
