Job Summary
We are seeking for a Part Time Property Maintenance specilaist to join our team in Lewisham. This role offers flexibility, with the ideal candidate expected to work approximately two days per week. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the physical environment of six houses where we provide care for individuals with learning difficulties. Tasks will include furniture assembly, redecorating, plumbing and small-scale construction projects.
Requirements
- Clear Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check (due to contact with vulnerable adults).
- Proven experience working in property maintenance.
- Familiarity with the maintenance of traditionallyconstructed buildings.
- Proficiency in simple woodwork, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation.
