SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LOCATION: Swindon

SALARY: £45,000 to £50,000

JOB TYPE: Permanent Full-time Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week

Role Purpose

Our client is looking for an outstanding Sales Manager for our supply-only Large Format business, focusing mainly on ridged board. The Sales Manager would be expected to deliver £350,000 Y1 & £500,000 Y2 of sales growth. The sales growth would need to come from existing contacts whilst also utilising our current relationships with key customers, which are currently very under-explored. These are customers that have spent with our group.

Reporting into the Group Sales Director, this role will also be required to keep the Group CEO abreast of opportunities and current state of play. You will be fully supported to achieve your goal with excellent customer service & production support.

Experience Required

This role will suit someone that has a proven experience in the Large Format industry, with a great reputation & relationship with their clients. Our ideal candidate will:

Have excellent communication skills, both verbally & over email

Be proactive in their approach to hunt down new work & explore all sales avenues

Be a complete self-starter, motivated by winning & growing

Understand the business in detail to sell its strong points & help improve any weaknesses

Lead by example, have a positive attitude and be inspiring to others

Handle pressure well and understand the bigger picture; "see the forest, not just the trees."

Think strategically & critically, with an understanding of pricing, market prices & technical specifications

Focused on targets, with consideration of how to create sustainable revenue streams that would require minimal effort across the business

Willing to listen, learn & grow, looking for opportunities that will benefit the group and its related services
