Financial Accountant - £60,000 -£65,000 + Bonus - Reading, Berkshire (hybrid working)

Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting an acquisitive business services organisation, who is on the hunt for a qualified Financial Accountant.

Our client is an industry leader, delivering innovative solutions to their clients across the globe.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Financial Accountant and become an integral part of the finance team. This role will have responsibility for multiple entities and your role will be to ensure seamless and accurate month-end processes are complete in a timely manner.

About Your New Role

  • Produce accurate financial reports, adhering to group and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain and provide insightful analysis of P&L and balance sheet variances.
  • Record, reconcile, and maintain the accuracy of transactions
  • Facilitate VAT return preparation
  • Review and communicate movements on the balance sheet and highlight any risks.
  • Manage year end statutory accounts process including liaising with External auditors and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Ensure accounting policies are followed in accordance with accounting policy manual.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Practical experience of financial and accounting processes
  • Experience in new process implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
