The opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful commercial business based in their Lanarkshire office as an Accounts Administrator on a permanent basis.
The Company
The company is more than 25 years old and has expanded in that time to having multiple sites and 20 members of staff, most of which have been with the company for over 10 years. They also have a wide ranging variety of clients and no two days are the same.
The Role
A challenging, hands on role ideally suited to a dynamic Accounts Administrator who is keen to learn about the commercial aspects of the business whilst being ready for change at a moments notice.
You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:
- Processing purchase ledger, match purchase order no. and coding of invoices.
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Running Bacs payments on a monthly basis
- Producing sale invoices as and when required making sure all payments are received. Maintaining asset stock list.
- Bank reconciliations
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- Experience working in a similar accounting position
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines
- Good knowledge of the monthly accounting cycle and typical processes and procedures
- Strong TI skills, particularly Excel and experience of using accounting systems - Sage50 ideally
