Our client is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team permanently. The Electrical Project Manager must have experience working on Mechanical and Electrical projects. The Electrical Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and building a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, and work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Project Manager:

  • Communicate with clients and colleagues, engaging with specialist consultants as required
  • Manage staff, oversee work schedules, and assign specific duties accordingly.
  • Comply with the company's handbook, policies and procedures
  • Supervise and direct overall project activities including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained.
  • Site survey of potential M&E projects, including layout design, quotation, and Client Liaison
  • Management of day-to-day project delivery, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, supplier performance and improvement.
  • Carry out regular audits of staff performance and quality of work to ensure the highest standard of service and workmanship is being achieved.

Skills Required for the Electrical Project Manager:

  • Previous experience of management on M&E projects
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Recognized Building Services qualifications
  • Financial acumen - cost management, budget, P&L responsibilities
  • Be educated to a GCSE Level B+ in Math's & English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Managerial skills (managing SLAs etc)
  • Previous experience working within the Telecoms sector: Data Centre's, Telephone Exchanges etc
