Enterprise Architect
A highly reputable financial services corporation is hiring an Enterprise Architect with a background in software/application development who possesses strong capabilities in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud to lead our client through their on premise to cloud transformation program.
As our clients modernises they require an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the business into modern ways of working with particular focus on Cloud and AI with demonstrable delivery of major change projects within the financial domain. This permanent role paying up to £112,000 + 25% bonus on a hybrid basis to be located in Chatham, Kent.
Experience requirements:
- Exceptional previous experience of at least two IT architecture disciplines, including Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Systems Architecture, Business Architecture, Information / Data Architecture, Application / Service Architecture and Technology / Infrastructure Architecture is essential.
- Exceptional previous experience of proven experience developing/documenting Architecture Roadmaps, Standards & Patterns, Business problems including Scope, Functional and Non-functional Requirements Solution Design as well as Detailed architecture Blueprints is essential.
- Exceptional previous experience of contributing to Architecture Governance forums with the ability to document and track actions is essential.
- Robust previous experience of Total Costs of Ownership analysis is desirable.
- Robust previous experience of business and technical problem-solving skills is essential.
- Robust previous experience of the ability to "think big" and demonstrate strong reasoning skills is essential.
Core skills:
- Recent experience acting as Senior Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect within Development, Data or Application focused environment is essential
- Experience of TOGAF version 9.2 or above is essential.
- Details knowledge of Cloud-based solutions in Azure is preferred but AWS or GC would also be considered
- Advanced skills in integration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and microservices architecture including best practices for enterprise systems is essential.
- Advanced skills in integration solutions & ETL with enterprise tools are essential.
- Advanced skills in using Architecture description languages (ADL's) to support enterprise modelling techniques (UML, ArchiMate) is essential
- Detailed knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies and associated opportunities is essential.
