Global Category Manager - Technology Procurement - London

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for a Global Category Manager for Technology Procurement, Cyber Security and Global Risk & Compliance Groups. You will be accountable for all sourcing and contract management across assigned technical categories. This will include the implementation of category strategies; the contracting for master/service/product agreements within the categories; the management of supplier relationships that fall outside of the enterprise SRM structure for these categories; and for ensuring the suppliers commit to deliver the performance/quality/financial requirements needed.

This opportunity has a global remit and will increase the level of trust with current and potential suppliers to define new commercial/contractual options to improve cost model transparency, from project budget elaboration to project completion.

  • Procurement category strategy leadership for Cyber Security Office and Global Risk & Compliance Groups, leading the development, management and implementation of comprehensive strategies on a global scale that deliver the business requirements across assurance of supply, quality, service, cost and innovation.
  • Negotiates contracts with suppliers that secure favourable terms for procurement contracts in line with the agreed business requirements.
  • Contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance; manages / monitors ongoing negotiations with 3rd parties.
  • Lead and implement key projects to support savings delivery or risk mitigation.
  • Lead SRM for key strategic vendors in spend categories

  • Good ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, and work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change
