Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our clients team on a 12-month maternity contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, leading a team of skilled professionals and contributing to the overall success of our nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursery staff.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging activities for the children.
- Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Uphold and promote health, safety, and wellbeing standards.

Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about providing high-quality childcare and education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
