Communications Manager

We're looking for an experienced communications contractor to play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale, technology-led transformation programme. Experience working on SAP S4Hana / ERP projects would be beneficial although not essential and an understanding of the FMCG / retail industry would also benefit your application.

Responsibilities of the role

This is a key role within the project communications project team, and you'll be accountable for the planning, creation and delivery of programme communications and engagement activities across our Supply Chain function, ensuring seamless project integration and stakeholder engagement. This role requires hands-on operational delivery communications, in a fast-paced environment.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering a detailed communication plan that supports the programme and drives engagement and adoption with hard-to-reach audiences.
  • Managing a communications plan against the multiple changes that inevitably happen on a change programme of scale.
  • Creating high quality communications content plus materials that bring clarity and create clarity and understanding from the relevant audiences.
  • Supporting communications across five workstreams.

About you

  • You have a proven track record of executing detailed communications plan activity on a large-scale technology transformation project
  • Great stakeholder management and influencing skills to help achieve the required outcome in demanding circumstances.
  • A proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and mitigating roadblocks.
  • A self-starter who can get stuck into the detail and get hands on with the project.
  • Confident and comfortable with fast-paced delivery; can manage multiple priorities at once and can deliver high quality solutions against a backdrop of ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • You're a great collaborator and enjoy working in a team environment.
