Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with an award winning Accounting, Tax and Corporate Finance firm located in North London, who work with clients ranging from SME's and sole traders up to listed companies specialising in the creative industries.
Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for an ambitious and enthusiastic Tax Semi Senior to join their Far East department. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Prepare personal tax returns for review by Consultant/Partner
- Assist with tax planning, projects, compliance matters and deal with client queries. Draft correspondence to clients for review by Consultant/Partner
- Obtain an understanding of the principles of residency, ordinary residency and domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and understand the taxation of death estates and trusts
- Take responsibility for the delivery of the complete tax computation and return
- Take responsibility for compliance administration and quarterly and year end processes
- Appropriate experience within relevant tax discipline at this level
- Able to compute figures rapidly and accurately and analyse and interpret financial data
- Demonstrate awareness of relevant financial targets and constraints
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Tax Semi Senior, you will need to have be hardworking and punctual with at least 2 years tax experience within an accountancy firm and ideally working towards a tax qualification. For this role you must be fluent in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese
