Finance Manager - Construction
Location: Reading, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including payrole, vat return, full accountancy
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial management of projects.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in SAGE 50 and other relevant financial software.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- AAT Level 3 and 4 qualifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
