Finance Analyst

This role requires a proficient Finance Analyst capable of assisting the Accounting & Finance Department with financial analysis and reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial modelling within the property sector.

Description

  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken

Profile

A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
