Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Primary SEN teacher to join a Primary School with a dedicated SEN provion. You will be working small classes of students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This is a full time, long-term role starting in September 2024. You will mainly be covering a modified KS1 and 2 curriculum

The School:
This is a vibrant 2 form entry primary school in Barnet who have a dedicated SEN provision and their aim is to help students feel more engaged in their learning with a view to help them transition back into the mainstream classroom.
As the SEN Provison teacher you will be responsible for the below:
- Quality and effective delivery of lessons lesson to pupils in the Provision
- Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
- Support behaviour by following the children's plans
- Contributing to setting targets for children
- Working alongside the SENCO and other professionals in the support network
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:
- QTS
- Knowledge of, or previous experience teaching children with SEMH
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
