Quick Staff UK, a leading independent recruitment business is pleased to be working with an established manufacturing organisation in the Pontypridd area. The Logistics Administrator will join a busy customer service, shipping and planning department and will primarily be responsible for providing an effective customer service & shipping service to the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Organising and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Preparing customs documents
- Reviewing, preparing and executing sales orders and invoices
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Monitoring shipments, costs and timelines.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Liaising and negotiating with logistical suppliers.
- Answering customer queries.
Key requirements:
- Experience working within; shipping, freight forwarding, logistics.
- ERP system experience required. SAP preferred but not essential.
- Strong relationship building skills - customers, colleagues, suppliers.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office Excel.
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Hours of work:
8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday
