Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Hours:15.30 - 17.30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.82-£14.52
Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join a lovely school based in Telford.
The role will start on a temporary on-going basis but a flexible approach is required.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust various surfaces.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and school policies.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar setting.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required (we can assist with this).
