Academics are looking to recruit a Welfare Assistant to work and support children with Special Educational Needs in Macclesfield.
This role will be versatile and children that require support may vary in age groups and key stages. Work for this role can be either full time or part time depending on your preference. Experience with SEN Children will be highly desirable within this role as personal care may sometimes be a requirement.

So, as a Welfare Assistant what would you be doing?
- Support a child's mental, emotional and academics needs to ensure they are getting the best experience out of their education
- Assist the teacher in finding ways to help SEN students learn that suits their own individual needs
- When required, provide personal care to students
