This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic Accountant who is looking for a responsible role to join a growing local Company, you will be leading an ambitious and hardworking team.
Some of your duties will include:
- Supervising the accounts function and managing the accounts team
- Managing the sales, purchase and nominal ledger function up to trail balance level
- Calculating, preparing and producing quarterly VAT returns and submitting payments to HMRC
- Completing month-end and year-end process and preparing profit and loss reports
- Producing variance to budget analysis reports and investigating any variances that occur
- Ensuring complete statutory compliance in all areas of the accounting production and records
