My client is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work alongside the Managing Director supporting across day-to-day client management tasks and general administrative duties.

This is a senior role which requires a highly client-focused professional who can provide exceptional administrative support to the MD ensuring the most effective use of their time. The candidate will also support the wider team, as necessary.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Handle incoming email correspondence and telephone calls, ensuring first-class service and administrative support.
  • Manage tasks and time-sensitive items on a daily basis.
  • Issue replies to external correspondence.
  • Assist in managing the diary and email inbox of the Director(s), reviewing/responding to emails to free up their time.
  • Screen incoming calls appropriately, relay messages accurately, or redirect calls when possible.
  • Obtain quotations directly from insurers and underwriters.
  • Prepare client documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Check policy documents, schedules, and claim files for accuracy and completeness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry experience preferable but not essential
  • Previous experience providing client support at a senior level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of FCA compliance/regulation.
  • Good understanding of Lloyd's, London market, and international insurance.
  • Positive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for the insurance market.
  • Team player mentality with a cheerful and friendly confident manner.
  • Flexibility in approach to work and hours.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions when necessary.
  • Excellent time-management, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organisation.
