Science Solutions are currently recruiting for a Scientist for one of our clients based in the North Lincolnshire area.
To be considered for this Scientist position you must be PhD educated in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or a closely related subject.
As a Scientist you will be responsible for conducting in depth R&D of microplastic free & water dispersible polymers and much more.
Role requirements
- PhD educated in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Composite Materials, Nanomaterials or a similar subject.
- Strong understanding and hands on experience of polymer chemistry, nanomaterials or graphene infused materials.
- Previous experience within a lab is highly advantageous.
- Passion for working on sustainable products in order to make a positive impact on the planet.
Role responsibilities
- This role is heavily lab based, so you must be willing to conduct in depth research and development of microplastic free & water dispersible polymers and dispersion techniques for graphene into polymers.
- Optimise performance of biodegradable polymers & adhesives.
- Maintain and qualify all lab equipment ensuring that they are in good working condition at all times.
- Designing and validating new testing protocols.
