**Payroll Administrator

Reed Accountancy are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join my clients dedicated team, responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll services to approximately 1,400 employees in the UK on a monthly basis. This role is integral to their finance operation and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Inputting data and updating employee records
- Running reports and reconciling the payroll for approval.
- Reconciling HMRC payments to EPS and gateway.
- Administering statutory pay and deductions.
- Administering RSUs and stock exercises.
- Ensuring compliance with the National Minimum Wage.
- Preparing data for the end of the tax year.
- Preparing Payroll General Ledger for upload to the Finance system.
- Preparing data for the pension provider.
- Handling queries from employees, HR, and other parties, investigating discrepancies promptly.
- Delivering accurate and reliable information to the business.
- Understanding and adhering to company policies.
- Providing support to ad hoc administration activities and projects involving payroll.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar payroll role.
- Proficiency in using the ADP iHCM system.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUPs.
- Good interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current payroll legislation.
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality and compliance with GDPR legislation.
**Highly Desirable:
- CIPP qualification in Payroll or equivalent.
