An established and respected insurance brokerage firm in Bolton with nearly 60 years of industry experience is seeking to expand their Schemes Account Handling team. Key Responsibilities for this Insurance Schemes Account Handler Role:
- Handle renewals, mid-term amendments, claims, premium financing arrangements, and client queries
- Develop new business opportunities and achieve high customer service standards
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Update detailed computer records and assess clients' current and future insurance needs
- Stay updated on changes in the insurance and relevant industries, as well as competitor offerings
- Prepare and present terms for larger cases, coordinating with Account Executives
- Conduct training exercises and identify areas for personal development
Required Skills & Qualifications for Insurance Schemes Account Handlers:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Robust analytical skills and ability to understand and assess risk
- Confident negotiation abilities and exceptional time management skills
- Experience as a Schemes Account Handler is highly desirable
