What You Will Do:
- Design and package core engine components including major castings and systems related to breather, cooling & lubrication.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to ensure solutions meet customer and functional requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, aligning design solutions with quality and cost expectations.
- Support FMEA on components and systems to address design risks and validation needs.
- Generate reports to support component and system design reviews and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Address field and production issues, developing containment actions and corrective measures.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong technical background, preferably with an HNC or degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Knowledge of Core Engine systems such as Rotating Systems, Valvetrain, Castings, Lubrication, Breather and Cooling systems
- Experience with modelling & detailing in CREO4 and familiarity with Team Centre - data management software.
- Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and deliver tasks independently.
- Desirable: Experience in FMEA, CREO Simulate, and familiarity with APQP methodology.
