Our client based in Kiln Farm are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with Payroll skills to join their busy team.
The hours are full time, office based and role a Maternity Contract for 1 Year.
Duties to include:
- Weekly preparation of hours for the factory payroll.
- Monthly preparation and processing of the salaried payroll and factory payrolls.
- Liaising with Sage and HMRC where necessary.
- Processing starters and leavers and assisting with payroll related queries.
- Excellent knowledge of processing statutory requirements such as Tax, NI, SSP, SMP and SPPetc.
- Assist and participate in the reporting and processing of all company pension requirements.
- Payroll end of year processing.
- All duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Taking customer payments by credit card and posting to the system
- Assist with credit control duties
You must have previous experience in a similar role, strong MS Office and Sage 50 Payroll or a similar system. Excellent communication and written English skills. Attention to detail essential.
