Accounts Assistant with Payroll

Our client based in Kiln Farm are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with Payroll skills to join their busy team.

The hours are full time, office based and role a Maternity Contract for 1 Year.

Duties to include:

  • Weekly preparation of hours for the factory payroll.
  • Monthly preparation and processing of the salaried payroll and factory payrolls.
  • Liaising with Sage and HMRC where necessary.
  • Processing starters and leavers and assisting with payroll related queries.
  • Excellent knowledge of processing statutory requirements such as Tax, NI, SSP, SMP and SPPetc.
  • Assist and participate in the reporting and processing of all company pension requirements.
  • Payroll end of year processing.
  • All duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Taking customer payments by credit card and posting to the system
  • Assist with credit control duties

You must have previous experience in a similar role, strong MS Office and Sage 50 Payroll or a similar system. Excellent communication and written English skills. Attention to detail essential.
