Talent UK are working alongside our well established new client. Our client is a leader in the field of Waste Management.
Due to growth our client is now looking to recruit three field based Business Development Managers to work full time Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.
As a Business Development Manager for our client your daily role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Cold calling around area postcode prior to and after appointments and add leads that have potentialto CRM portal.
- Confirmed appointments per day.
- Know your customers waste streams i.e. Pub/restaurant GW, Cardboard, Glass, food, washroom and energy.
- Calling in face to face on pipeline customers.
- Deal with enquiries, increases and resigns customers promptly - an hour of receiving. Minimum phone preferably visits in person.
- Responsible for making your own phone calls to get your own appointments to fill up your Calendar.
- Sit Appointments, complete all paperwork via Portal to company policy and procedures.
- Pre-Qualify 48 hours before appointments. If any cancel, have a backup strategy.
- Prepare tomorrow's cold calling. What postcodes are you in, are there any industrial estates you need to go on or revisit. Google earth is amazing!!
- Prepare tomorrow's Pipeline face to face follow ups and calls.
As a Business Development Manager you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a field based role not account management
