An international bank based within central London is looking for someone to join their dynamic team as a Credit Analyst. This bank's expansion strategy is to maintain its core strength, which is having an in-depth understanding of each customer and delivering expectational tailored customer service.
Your new role
In this role you will be a Credit Analyst in a dynamic and fast-paced banking environment. Looking for a strong candidate for a 12-month FTC with the potential to be made permanent.
Responsible for undertaking credit analysis for corporate and financial institutional clients. Assist in obtaining, checking and completion of loan documentation including collateral aspects when appropriate. Undertaking monthly reviews of existing facilities, including any amendments and periodic reviews of loan facilities in the Bank's Accounts.
- Corporate Credit Analysis: Proven track record in conducting thorough credit analysis of corporate entities, assessing their financial health and creditworthiness.
- Financial Institutions Credit Analysis: Significant experience in evaluating the credit profiles of various financial institutions, ensuring comprehensive risk assessments.
- Project Finance: Hands-on experience in project finance, including the evaluation and structuring of financing for large-scale projects.
- Syndicated Lending: Practical experience in syndicated lending, involving the coordination and management of loans provided by multiple lenders.
- Loan Documentation: Strong understanding of loan documentation, with the ability to review, interpret, and ensure compliance with relevant terms and conditions.
- Procedural Improvements: Capability to review existing procedures and recommend necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of banking or trade finance experience.
- In-depth knowledge of project finance, syndicated lending, and loan documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
What you'll get in return
Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience), five days a week in the office and great City of London-based office.
